Calling all bug and insect lovers!!
Over 900,000 different types of insects live in the world. And not only are there tons of them, but they are a very important part of the ecosystem! Campers will become entomologists (scientists who study insects) as they learn about insects and all of the amazing things they can do. They’ll go on an insect scavenger hunt and practice their insect identification skills, as well as explore cool adaptions that some insects have.
Your entomologist will also spend a fair amount of the week doing their part to help their little insect pals! They’ll use their engineering skills as they make a hornets’ nest, be the architect and designer as they construct a bee home, and tap into their agricultural skills as they build a bee garden.
All together, campers will participate in 20 different projects, experiments and activities throughout the week. One thing we can be sure of, is that campers won’t find a more complete study and fun adventure of insects than in this camp!
