Summer Camp FAQS

Camps run from June 10 – August 2, 2024, except for the week of July 4. Our campus is closed that week, so no camps will be running.

Half-day camps typically run from 9 am-12 pm or 1 pm-4 pm, and full-day camps run from 9 am-4 pm. Exceptions to normal hours are noted in the camp descriptions and schedule.

Click the add to cart button below for your desired camps. For camps taught by our partners, you will be redirected to their website to complete the process.

Registration is subject to camp availability. Camp registration will remain open for camps that have not yet met their maximum participation number. Camps that have not met their minimum registration number, will be canceled two weeks before their start date and removed from the summer schedule.

Our online registration system accepts credit cards. If you prefer to pay by another method, you must register in person at Woodlawn School. We cannot hold your child’s space in camp until we have received payment.

Camps taught by Woodlawn staff require full and final payment for all camps is due no later than May 31. Registrations submitted after May 31, must be paid in full at the time of registration. Camps are refundable, minus a $25 administration fee, if the cancellation is made before May 31. On or after June 1, no refunds are offered. Full refunds will be given for sessions canceled by Woodlawn. There are no exceptions.  Woodlawn School does not pro-rate for partial attendance or absence from a summer camp program.

Woodlawn School reserves the right to cancel any camp based on enrollment or other circumstances. All sessions are subject to minimum and maximum enrollment. If the minimum number to fill a session is not received, parents will be notified before the start of the session and given the option of selecting another available camp or receiving a full refund.

Woodlawn School reserves the right to substitute instructors, add or remove activities, and alter camp schedules as necessary. Refunds, in full or part, will not be made as a result of program change or modification.

*Please note, that camps run by our trusted partners, such as Ludmila Academy, and ClubSciKidz have their own payment and refund policies that you can find on their website(s).

We expect campers to demonstrate respect toward all camp staff members and fellow campers at all times while attending Woodlawn School camps. We expect campers to act responsibly, be kind to others, and follow simple instructions. While we offer great programs for most children, we recognize that we may not be the best camp or have the appropriate support in place for all children, especially those who require special medical, behavioral, or social support.

All preschool campers must be potty trained before attending camp. There are no exceptions to this policy.

If you have questions about whether Woodlawn School offers a suitable camp experience and support for your child, please e-mail us at kmccormick@woodlawnschool.org

Attendance at summer camp is contingent upon your child’s ability to exhibit and maintain acceptable standards of behavior and citizenship. There is no refund if a camper is asked to leave camp due to behavioral problems or for disobeying camp policies.

Electronics, including games, iPods, cell phones, and ear buds of any kind isolate individuals from the purpose of spending time together and making meaningful connections. We ask that if your child brings a cell phone or electronic device of any kind to Woodlawn School Summer Camps it remains in a book bag or tote so that it is not accessible during the day. Any participant who uses an electronic device during the day will be asked to put it away.

All families will receive an email from the camp instructor before the start date of camp, which will include specific camp details, camp location, and drop off and pick up instructions.
